Creativity and Healthy Aging

All good suggestions here. From this article and personal experience, I would say that healthy again requires resistance to a regression to simple routine, familiarity, and sameness. While there are rewards for engaging in a pared down simplified life, there seems to be a big downside as well. Seek novelty, keep moving.

    All true. Being creative uses the right and left side of the brain because it deals with problem solving, in so many different ways. Your brain even starts to tell you when you are solving unnecessary problems and to let it go. Studies have shown that kids who get to make art, do better in stem subjects.
